A day filled with soul both visual and musical. Museum is filled with people visiting, overwhelmingly busy and beautiful artworks, and the correspondence between the two brothers, Theo and Vincent. Started my day out with fog and snow, which delayed rain travel. What should have taken 3 hours took 5. So now am ensconced in Amsterdam. Bought my tram/bus pass look forward to getting out in the morning to explore this town.!Read more "Another travel day. Ghent to Amsterdam."
Last nite of Festival…was so much fun. Amazing performance The maestros, Mirella & Carlos Santos David were amazing, this couple was 2018 European champions. They are the youngest couple…so romantic.. While we mere tangeros just danced the night away.Read more "It’s Monday and …."
Up early as was a brisk sunny day, with a high of 32 today. Walked all over the old town, found graffiti, enjoyed a canal tour with an education about the glories of Ghent and the confluence of rivers. A beautiful city.Read more "Another amazing day in Ghent…"
After 2 weeks of travel and dancing took the day off and slept late…arranged a massage and a pedicure for later in the week. Tonight was a photo walk about, even though it rained at times. Tomorrow will really play tourist, taking a canal bost tour.Read more "Monday continued…"
