Travels to Michigan September 2018

It’s been many years since I’ve been in Michigan…have relatives not seen in years. As family gatherings seem to revolve around funerals, thought I’d see these people for a happy occasion, and brought my son along.

This was a great decision, and we had an exciting trip visiting not only with family, but art museums, restored historical buildings, amazing restaurants. breweries, movie theaters, distilleries, and the scenic parts of the mid Michigan.

Places visited are numerous, the photos represent the highlights. Detroit is really becoming a revitalized city with a lively food and brew scene.

Staying true to the motto, unencumbered by our possessions and not burdening our children with our stuff. This next process will take patience and courage. On the road to happiness.
